 This release contains only standard 8 color icons and I am sorry if someone
 expected 16 color ones. Nevertheless @{" -> Walter D
rwald " LINK "walter"} and I are working on
 16 color icons and maybe for a replacement for all system icons. But this
 will really take some time. Creating perfect 16 color icons is hard work.
 So this may be the last release of my RomIcons (but never say never ;)
 If you have created nice 16 color icons, do not hesitate and email them to us
 (preferably to Walter). It doesn't matter which palette you use, but it should
 contain the 8 standard colors defined by XEN. The new iconsize will be 57x35
 pixel.

 Mail3: All postcards from England (none came from Wales, SC or NI) had the
        same stamps. They all show Queen Elizabeth and so I thought that this
        would be a good symbol for any type of eMail programs.
 KingCON: I and several others released KingCON icons which contained the ARexx
        crown. But the golden rule in the art of icon design says that you
        should never use the same symbol for different programs. So here it is:
    The King from the good old Battlechess game in the 8 MWB colors.
 Komponisten: is for my new composer database in AmigaGuide-format with lots
    of pictures and sounds. There is no release date fixed, but it should
    be on Aminet in a few months. Sorry, it is german only.
    The picture shows Mozart, it is an adapted version of the 16 color
    dock-brush called "Symphonie" in RI9.
 Scout: Timo Kaikumaa (and I) needed a nice icon for the cool system monitor
        'Scout' by Andreas Gelhausen and the only symbol I could think of was
        an indian. If you are interested how to draw an icon from scratch,

] The Making of Scout " SYSTEM "MultiView RIguide/tmoScout.brush"}.
        The feather is actually stolen from XEN's 'WordProcess'-imagedrawer
        and then copied and rotated.
 Paint5 and ProWizard are taken from the AmyWB icon pack 1 and 2 by Henrik
        Jensen @{" -> (Hi) " LINK "credits"}. I reduced them from 32 to 8 colors.
 DPaintV: In the misc-drawer you will find an enhanced version of Tut-Ench-Amun
    released in RI7. Only some reflection spots were added, so that it looks
        more plastic and golden.
 Fame:  Sascha Pfalz asked me to draw some icons for a BBS-System which is
        currently in beta-stage. I hope they satisfy you.
 MagicWB-Demon: This one is completely drawn by @{" -> Walter D
rwald " LINK "walter"}.
        He is really a great artist!

 MRLake is only one of 18 other grey-scale background images, which can be
 found in 'RomPix.lha' archive on Aminet (pix/mwb).

 This guide uses little 'ascii-icons' to distinguish if a button is linked
 to a text, sound, picture or other. This is useful for example if you press
 a button which plays a soundfile, but nothing happens, because your speakers
 are not connected.
 I use the following symbols so far:

 RomIcons are freely distributable but copyrighted by me. Freeware and
 Shareware authors are encouraged to include these icons in their software
 if appropriate. But give credit where credit is due. RomIcons may not be
 used in commercial software.
 Neither fees may be charged nor profits may be made by distributing this
 icons. Only a nominal fee for costs of magnetic media may be accepted, the
 amount of $2 US shouldn't be exceeded for a disk containing RomIcons.
 CD manufactures are specifically granted the right to include these icons
 on CD collections, as long as they are for the Public Domain.
